Do you have a City or Village "N" Aerial photos, for the 1941 or 1942 years?
As it is written in our service contract, we are not an archive and do not store any aerial photography or any reference materials at our side. All information is stored in the archives with which we work. In order to check the coverage of the zone you need, you need to order research for aerial photographs at our Service, via Member Area. Without rendering this service, we can not tell you whether there are aerial photographs in the archives, in the areas you need, for the periods you need.
What is the "Report of Coverage"?
The "Report of Coverage", is a summary of the sorties of aerial exposures, found for your AOI (Area of Interest), for the period specified by you within the order. In each page of the report, data are given for a specific sorties, exposures of which were taken during the flight, through your AOI. By clicking on the following link "Example of the one page of the Report of Coverage", you can view an example of a report page per the one sortie. On it, you can see, black squares - the exposures covering the AOI, surrounded by a red square (AOI). Each black square is a separate aerial exposure. Coverage of exposures often goes along one line. In this case, in the report, we draw a line between two pictures of the sortie. To find out the location of the intermediate pictures of the sorties, which are go along the line, but are not reflected in the report, you should order our Preview Service for making a preview of these pictures. Also, in the report, we write, which exposures, by our opinion, are located withinthe zone indicated by you in the order. The report is necessary, for understanding, which images is cover your AOI and for the further processing of the order for scanning aerial photographs or making previews of aerial photographs.
What is the "Sortie"?
The "Sortie" - is a certain number of aerial photographs that the plane made in one flight mission over the certain territory. Different sorties were been done on the same date, at different times and on different dates. We select only those sorties of archival aerial photographs which is covering your AOI at the time-frame, which you specified during the placing of the order.
Got the "Report of coverage" but can not open any photographs specified in it. Where are the Photographs?
What is the "Report of Coverage", you can read in the question above. The making of the "Report of coverage" for your AOI does not imply providing you, the aerial photographs themselves and / or their previews (small copies). To get the aerial photographs scanned or to receive their prewiews (small copies), you will need to place the order for that Service at our Website and pay for that Service.
Can I immediately order the scans of aerial phographs without ordering of the research and creating the "Report of coveage"?
This is possible, only in the case of ordering the scanning of aerial photographs, according to the report that you have, which you ordered from us. Or if you provide the archive requisites of the aerial photographs you need. In any other cases, to order scanning of images, you must first order a research for the Aerial photographs within the archive with making of the "Report of Coverage".

So you will can check the true location of the exposure, check the clouds/defects on the exposure, before you'll place the order of the scan. That wil save your money, by prevent of ordering of the exposure, which is misplaced in the archival reference materials for the sortie, or when it will has heave clouds or will has huge defects. In the "Examples" gallery, you can see the example of the Preview and KMZ-file.

Unfortunately, but you can't. According to our Contract-Offer We can receive orders only via filling the order form at our website. You can place an order via the Member Area: Member Area
I have received the electronical copie(s) of exposure(s), but it have poor quality, due to original material defects. Can I receive a refund for my order?
According to our Contract-Offer cases "5.12.1" and "5.12.4" We not replace the electronical copies of the exposures which originals have defects. Also we're not make any refunds on these orders in that case. We doing our best to get quality electronical copies from the archival material, but in some cases, condition of the original archival materials is very poor.
You've scanned some exposures for me, but I can't find something I looking for on these exposures. Can I refund money for that order?
According to ourContract-Offer cases: "5.5", "5.12.1" and "5.12.4" We're not taking any resposibility if you're not satisfied with the objects on the exposure. So that order will not be refunded.
Why you didn't found any exposures for my AOI, during specified time-frame? I know the Germans and Allies were made many many flights in that area. Why that's happens with my order?
Unfortunately, that's happens from time to time. Many and many exposures from the aerial Reconaissance missions were missing since year 1945. Some of German Aerial Reconaissance exposures were lost during bombing of Berlin in 1945, and during the transportation to the Allies.
What is the detailed sorties or the not detailed sorties? What difference between them?
The not detailed sorties - Sorties which were made with small focal lengh or from high altitude. The larger scale of the sorties means the less details on them. But the coverage area of such images is several times larger than the coverage of the territory with exposures from the detailed sorties. Wooden houses and some fortifications on them will be visible, but small details may be difficult to view.
I don't have much of knowledge in the scale of the exposures. Please tell me what the difference between the scale of 1: 38000-1: 40000 and the scale of 1: 20000-1: 15000 and so on?
Some part of this question is already have it's answer in the question above. Smaller digits means more detailed scale. So the exposure with the scale of 1:15000 will be more detailed that exposure with the scale of 1:38000. The originals of different scale images have the same dimensions, so two different images with different focal lenghts or altitude will give different details.
Can you tell me, do you have any already scanned exposures of my AOI? Can you do that withou placing an order and making of the prepayment?
Unfortunately, we can't. All of the orders have it's unique parametrs and in much cases will never be the same with your order parametrs. Such parametrs - Area size, time-frame and etc. So we can't tell you about the exposures, which are covering your AOI, without making of the research within the archives. You can browse our collection, at our website, and order the exposure present there. But if you can't find the exposure for your AOI, you will need to place an order for the research and making of the PDF coverage map.
Within what Archives do you work?
We're working within the National Archives And Records Administration (USA). That's archive, which is holding 95 percent of all Second World War Aerial Reconnaissance photographs, Allied and German.
Too many scamers in the web. I'm scared of them. Please tell me, when you founded your service? Do you have any publical made orders? How I can take a look at them?
Our service is registered on the territory of the Russian Federation since 2013. Our registration details are given on the page of the Сontract-Offer within the "Documents" menu and on the "Contacts" page. A copy of the registration certificate, our company in the territory of the Russian Federation, is also given on the Contract-Offer page, at the bottom of the page.

Will you help me in the recognition of the objects present on the exposures?
Unfortunately, due to lack of the time, we will can't do that for you. You can check our "Help in recognition" section on our web-site.
Can I pay you by the payment method, which is not present in the contact-offer?
Unfortunately, you can send us your payment only by payment methods, which is present in the contract-offer.
How will I know if you digitized exposure with the right date? I mean with the date, which is suitable for the time-frame, which's specified within my research order? Some of the received electrincal copies of the exposures have date, some doesn't have.
Unfortunately, on very many exposures date of making is absent. In 99% cases, the date on the exposures is equal to the date, which is speceified in the archival reference materials. In the PDF-reports, we're providing the date of sortie, which is specified in the archival material related to that sortie. That materials were made in the early 1960s, so we're not taking any responsibility for the correct dates. But If you very confused about the right date of the exposure, we can make a scan of the archival reference materials and german flight plan of the sortie(if it's present in the box with the sortie) for additional fee.
7 days from my payment passed, I've paid for my order on friday last week. Today is friday of this week, but my order is still not ready. Why?
The time-frames, which is specified in the contract offer is covering only the business(operate) dates, without offical weekends and holidays on the territory of Russian Federation. That's also present in the contract-offer. Please read it carefully. Satturday and Sunday is weekend and we're not operate in that days. In your case, two days of your waiting time is had on the weekend. So your order will be ready on monday of the next week (7+2).
Why exposures with the detailed scale have less coverage than less detailed exposures?
Please, check the answer a few question above. "What is the detailed sorties or the not detailed sorties? What difference between them?".
Does it make sense to order the search for the exposures which were made within the winter time? Everything will be covered with snow and nothing will be seen. Am I right?
Not in all cases. Sometimes, buildings and fortification objects is looking better on the winter time exposures. In the some cases, you can view fortification objects only on the winter-time photographs, because they were made by the snow. The only one source for viewing them - the photographs which were made in the winter-time.
